Aeolus Crew Training is a Lithuanian based company operating under our EASA ATO approval. We have partner companies in Finland and in Greece. Training is arranged in Helsinki, Finland, but other locations are possible.    
The company is set up to provide high-quality ATR42/72 training with a flexible schedule. Our experienced instructors and examiners guarantee the best possible outcome.
We can also arrange MCC and Advanced UPRT training as well as other aviation training. Our EASA examiners are also available to customers.

ATR42/72-500 Type Rating Renewal

To renew the expired ATR rating the content and duration of the course depends on the pilot's experience and how long the rating has been expired.

ATR42/72-500 Type Rating Training

 

•    The course is the initial ATR42/72 type rating
•    Duration 4 to 6 weeks
•    Qualification and access requirements are:
     -    minimum CPL(A) license
     -    100 hours PIC time
     -    ATPL theory + examinations
     -    valid MEIR-rating
     -    MCC Multi Crew Cooperation training completed
     -    advanced UPRT training

 

•    Ground training 106 hours
     -    computer based training (self-study at home)
          minimum 22 hours
     -    course introduction 3 hours
     -    aircraft system review and tests 45 hours
     -    performance, weight & balance, flight planning and
          monitoring 16 hours
     -    crew resource management 8 hours
     -    theoretical knowledge examination 4 hours
     -    SOP training including FMS training 8 hours

 

•    Full Flight Simulator training 8 x 4 hour sessions
     32 hours
•    Skill test 4 hours

 

     Before you can get the type rating onto your licence and to
     familiarize you with the real aircraft environment, you
     must perform Base Training (not included in the
     offered type  course).

 

•    Base training (4 or 6 landings with an aircraft).
     Not including to the contract. We will help with
     the arrangements of base training to our trainees.
     The approved flight training (base training) shall be
     performed by a qualified instructor under the responsibility
     of:
     (a) an ATO; or
     (b) an organization holding an AOC issued in accordance
     with Annex III (Part-ORO) to Regulation (EU) No 965/2012
     and specifically approved for such training.
